Condition Monitoring
Early Fault Detection, Real-Time Diagnostic Surveillance & Asset Health Intelligence
Unplanned outages and sudden equipment breakdowns incur severe maintenance costs and production losses. In strategic partnership with Ailsa, Engineering Partners Company (EPC) delivers advanced, non-invasive condition monitoring services backed by more than 20 years of cross-industry diagnostic expertise.
Combining portable route-based testing with continuous online surveillance, we identify mechanical, electrical, and thermal anomalies at the earliest stage of degradation—empowering plant operators to transition from reactive repairs to precision predictive maintenance.

Core Monitoring & Diagnostic Technologies:
- Vibration Analysis & Diagnostics: Spectral FFT analysis, time waveform assessment, and phase analysis to detect unbalance, misalignment, bearing wear, gear tooth defects, and structural resonance (compliant with ISO 20816 / ISO 10816).
- Infrared Thermography: Non-contact thermal imaging to detect abnormal electrical resistance, loose terminations, refractory degradation, and mechanical friction hotspots.
- Lube Oil & Tribology Analysis: Wear debris quantification, viscosity checks, moisture contamination, and chemical degradation testing to protect heavily loaded bearings and gearboxes.
- Airborne & Structure-Borne Ultrasound: Early detection of high-pressure compressed air/gas leaks, steam trap malfunctions, and subtle high-frequency bearing subsurface faults.
- Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA): Non-intrusive electrical testing to identify rotor bar fractures, stator winding asymmetry, and dynamic eccentricity while motors operate under load.
Deliverables & Reporting:
- Clear Asset Severity Matrix: Color-coded criticality reporting highlighting immediate, near-term, and normal operational statuses.
- Actionable Maintenance Work Orders: Step-by-step corrective recommendations rather than raw, uninterpreted data plots.
- Periodic Baseline Audits & Trend Tracking: Continuous historical data tracking to accurately forecast remaining useful life (RUL).
